REACH Statement

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) is a European Union Commission (EUC) Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006) entered into force on 01 June, 2007 and will be phased in until 2018.

Inland Vacuum Industries, Inc. supports the basic aim of REACH in improving the protection of human health and environment through the better and earlier identification of intrinsic properties of chemical substances. Inland Vacuum Industries, Inc. meets all applicable REACH requirements and is committed to provide our customers with information about substances in its products as required.

In an effort to address the requirements of the REACH regulation and ensure a reliable ongoing supply of Inland Vacuum products, Inland Vacuum has contacted suppliers to confirm all necessary registration of in-scope substances in formulations, preparations, materials, or articles to be completed by the REACH deadlines. In addition, suppliers have been requested to assess the potential presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

Inland Vacuum’s products do not contain any of the currently listed SVHC’s. Inland Vacuum will continue to work with our suppliers to ensure that all SVHC’s are notified to the European Chemicals Agency, if necessary, to comply with the REACH requirement.

Inland Vacuum assures its customers that our products are in full compliance with the EU REACH requirement.

Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS, RoHS-2, and Directive (EU) 2015/863) Compliance Statement

Inland Vacuum Industries, Inc. certifies that all of its products are RoHS, RoHS-2, and Directive (EU) 2015/863 compliant without exemptions. All products conform to the requirements of the European Union’s Restriction on Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive, 2011/65/EU in force January 2, 2013, and amendment Directive (EU) 2015/863 in force June 4, 2015.

Inland Vacuum defines “RoHS, RoHS-2, and Directive (EU) 2015/863 Compliant” to mean that banned substances are not added during the manufacturing process, and finished products have upper concentrations within RoHS, RoHS-2, and Directive (EU) 2015/863 acceptable limits.

Inland Vacuum will continue to comply with, and support, any updates to the European Union’s Restriction on Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS and RoHS-2) Directive, 2011/65/EU and Directive (EU) 2015/863.
